Nancy O'Dell's career in broadcasting began as a journalist and anchor for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. Later, she was a morning news anchor at WCBD TV and acted as an investigative reporter. The work of O'Dell on the streets of Charleston on police leniency towards DUI cases led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the cases. It was reported that the Associated Press honored Ms. O'Dell with the Best Report of the Years award in the entirety of South Carolina Media. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and as an investigative reporter. Then she joined Access Hollywood to work as the weekend and weekday correspondent. In addition, she serves as a co-anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows in preparation for The Emmys And The Golden Globes.
